Ok after all of that, I changed the game thread to having everyone play and go for the record and now I have to change it back again :(  They are resting all of their regular rotation players.  UGH!!!

I just saw MIL’s injury report. They appear to be conceding the game. Now what do the Celtics do?

That is a perfect image, TP.  Even if I am not sure I agree.  We could end up 4th. Is that preferred to the 2 seed?

Interesting things could happen with the 4 early games if Brooklyn by some miracle loses.  What's the word on Philly playing their starters?  If Philly win and Boston and Bucks lose does that vault Philly to #2?   Maybe Philly doesn't go all out for the win.

PHI can't get the 2 seed because of tiebreakers.

You want the 4 seed? Why?

Grizzlies and Pistons wins tonight would mean Boston finishes the 3 seed

But I'd still take the 4 seed instead of 2 seed (and 1st round vs. Brooklyn) as well

Win it and bring on the Nets. I want home court and to dismantle the Nets first followed by the Bucks and Heat and Suns…

Fear wins nothing in life.

Go Celtics, no tanking!

Because facing Toronto and then Miami gives the C’s a better chance to make the finals then facing Brooklyn and then Milwaukee.

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

Yeah, I don’t really believe that considering you could be likely with no JB in Toronto and no home court be Miami would have been a tough matchup for the Cs.

Normally I’d agree but I’d rather miss KD and Irving if we can.

I still think without Jaylen we can beat Toronto in 5 or 6 games. If Toronto had HCA, I might agree with you that it'd be difficult. Miami is tough, but if you asked me to face one of BKN/MIA/MIL, I'd definitely pick Miami especially with Timelord likely returning for that 2nd round

So if you are PHI, would you rather win, have a chance for the 3 seed, or lose and be the 4 seed for sure?  I feel that TOR is a harder first round match up than CHI (without Ball).  And then after that, 3 or 4 you get BKN, MIL, BOS or MIA.  Is MIA or BKN really better than MIL or BOS.  I guess maybe.  So let's see if PHI "rests" their starters or not.

Actually, just saw an updated injury report, Harden and Embiid are both OUT.

So does that mean we rest everyone too and try not to win?  (Uugh I hate this standings gaming).
