NBA rescindes tech on Doncic so he won’t be suspended

This what irritates me most about the NBA, special treatment for star players.

If Rob Williams got his 16th tech and we needed him for the regular season finale, you think Adam Silver would care?

I admittedly haven’t seen the play, I just read that he complained about a no call and his teammates were trying to hold him back so it seemed plausible enough.

Either way, the tech suspension rule extends into the playoffs doesn’t it?  So this isn’t going away

Doncic was literally wrapped up at half-court while he was trying to push the ball up for a last second shot at the end of a quarter and there was no call.  Don’t know if Doncic should have gotten a tech, but I do know any NBA player would have been similarly incensed about the call.

As for suspensions, I think the technical foul counter restarts for the playoffs.  Not sure what happens if he gets one tomorrow tho, whether a suspension would be assessed for the playoffs or game 1 next season.

I think people have posted like season stats going into game where he refs in past years over certain periods of games.  Celtics usually loose out big time from what I recall the research showed.
