That was basically the bubble series two years ago in a nutshell. What will the C’s do when they aren’t getting easy baskets under the rim? Tatum didn’t play good enough to overcome that tonight.

Pritchard being a non-factor against a team that defends is a bit of a concern. The Heat took him out of the game. They also really missed Rob tonight.
I don’t think we did him or Grant any favours. No way Smart should take that many more threes than those two

Sloppy, listless game tonight. Can't blame it on RW being out, IMO. Just an unfocused loss. Need a rebound game.

Bam killed us without Rob Williams. Maybe Theis would have been a better match up down the stretch? Anyway, next game will say a lot about this team. The invincibility is certainly gone.

Oh, I thought it was more about Smart's 3-15 shooting. Why no Nessie he had a good game last game. Does Ime just make up rotations before the game? At least add some shooting in the 4th when you can't score.

we are 4th--- :o
To be honest, a first round matchup against Chicago or Cleveland would be good for me

And a second round against Miami isn’t terrible either.

The refs aren’t why we lost, but dang were they bad down the stretch. 2 horrible no calls, a bad charge call, why didn’t they review  who it went out on? These are all major mistakes that took away a potential of 8+ points.

tatum had one bucket in the 4th...

Two games in a row he couldn't get his shots off against good defense.

Poor energy out there tonight has led to getting beat on a lot of 50/50 plays.
What’s with us playing so lazily whenever it’s a big night?

I disagree that we've been lazy tbh.  They just beat us.  Miami's defensive schemes had our offense confused most of the night, except for some sequences when we got out on the break.  And at the other end, Lowry and Adebayo killed us.
Can’t disagree more. Lazy turnovers, lazy offence, lazy chasing shooters off screens, and an overall lack of energy all night.

Agree. And honestly with Brooklyn looming and the C's already missing a key player there's not a lot of reason to go all out for a W. Let Miami have one extra gane of home court. They are fatally flawed and will get exposed when it matters.

Seeding and health are far more important right now with Rob already out.

He got plenty of shots against Toronto, it was just he (and a few others) were missing.

Him not shooting much tonight was a function of how our offence as a whole played.

Pritchard. Smart I'm not worried about. He's played well in high pressure games his whole career.

Rob being out hurts the offense. When teams don't have to worry about the lob they guard the C's differently. You can put more pressure on the perimeter and if someone gets into the lane, it's not as much of a concern.

15 points in the 4th. How about bringing in some shooting off the bench. We were soooooooo predicable in the 4th. NO ADJUSTMENTS AT ALL. Makes me fear for the playoffs.

I had a feeling Smarts game vs Toronto would carry over this game. 15 attempts is too much I think. That last drive early in the shot clock was bad. Of course the wide open bungled lay ups by JB and GWill didn’t help either.
