Friendly whistle there.  That was a good block.

I kind of expected this team to have a good first quarter tonight.  Guys come out hungry with something to prove, some players suddenly start doing things that aren't on the scouting report... things like that.  I see that happen fairly often with depleted teams.

What I didn't expect was for them to hang around.  I thought Toronto would take a deep breath, adjust to what the seldom-used Celtics players are trying to do, and take over from there.  Instead, Boston just keeps fighting.  Whether we finish this game off or not, I love what I'm seeing.  This is what culture looks like.
