Calling my shot:  Nesmith with 20+, four threes.

Let me have this.  I need to believe.

Per Keith Smith:
Jaylen Brown - Right Knee Tendinopathy - OUT
Al Horford - Personal Reasons - OUT
Jayson Tatum - Right Patella Tendinopathy - OUT
Robert Williams - Left Knee Lateral Meniscal Tear - OUT

This is what a 'schedule loss' looks like. lol

Wow, that is one depleted line up.  I guess the rotation is:

Smart
White
Nesmith
GWill
Theis

With Pritchard, Hauser, Kornet?  Stauskas probably plays some meaningful minutes?  Smart and White have not played that well together (+2 in 223 minutes).  Maybe this will be some good work for them.  Give them a chance to learn how to play together.

Our starters are actually a good defensive unit if nothing else.  Not much defense coming off the bench though.

I think I'd start Pritchard and leave White on the bench to run what remains of our second unit.  I prefer to play Pritchard off-ball with either Smart or White rather than letting him run a unit himself, where I think he's much less effective.  Either way both guys are playing 30+ unless this gets out of hand, so I'm not sure it matters too much.

This is probably one of the better times to need Kornet, at least.  He struggles with bigger centers, but the Raptors don't have any.

We're very outmanned in this one, but hey.  Maybe something stupid happens.

Then this will be the throwback of the 2013-2014 Boston Celtics squad!  8)

Just remembered Stauskas is from the Toronto area.  Rooting for him to have a big night in his hometown.

Has this anything to do with vaccinations?

Probably not.  Tatum and Brown were listed with the same injuries before yesterday’s game as they are using to sit out today’s game.  Al missed yesterday, and Rob is for real hurt.  Back-to-back late in the season, already down two starters — this is a sensible game to get the J’s some rest.

I tuned into the G-league game yesterday afternoon and the announcer said something about him being out for the game with an injury yesterday.

Other than Pritchard, the C’s bench tonight will consist entirely of G-league players. Assuming  the starting lineup will be Smart, White, Nesmith, Grant, Theis.

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.
