Last time Al sat out we got crushed by the Pacers.

Yup…..home stretch here, so to miss a game for personal reasons, must be something serious.

No official sources, but some people have said it's because his sister is having a wedding celebration this weekend.

No problem.  Al should get a game off in this 3 games in 4 nights stretch.   Hopefully the team can roll on without him today.

First Celtics game in Boston for me and my brother! Playing for the first seed and playing the best basketball in a decade.

I'm gonna be optimistic here and say that Grant picks up the slack and has a big game.  Theis looked good against the Jazz so maybe he's settling in too.

Hope you guys are right.

I know these guys have lives outside of basketball, and family should be first, but [dang], we’re fighting for position and momentum continuation here, and these guys aren’t getting paid minimum wage.

Death or birth, I get it, and I am an Al fan, but I just hope Al’s absence doesn’t cost us here. Al should’ve invited his buddy, KAT to his sisters wedding, because Al usually plays KAT well.

It's probable that they were going to rest him for one of these two games anyway - and let's face it, tomorrows matters more in the grand scheme.

We'll need a good game from Grant but he is already averaging 24 minutes.  He can't pick up Al's 29 minutes, that will be on Theis

We are going to see how big an impact that Horford makes.  It is definitely a loss.  We should still be favored though.

Looking for Theis to have a solid game and fill in for most of Al's missed minutes.
