It's crazy to me that there's a situation on the table where the Celtics get the 1 seed with home court advantage and face a path of: Cavs, Heat, and then one of the Bucks/Sixers to get to the Finals.

Whatever happens, happens but it's just crazy that that is on the table and not even a long shot.

You're saying that's a good path?

If you're the Nets, and your options are Philly, Milwaukee, or Boston without Timelord, who do you want?

Definitely not MIL.  Given the way they manhandled Philly a couple of weeks ago, I'm inclined to say Philly although I can see why the Celtics without TL would be attractive also.

No one should want Milwaukee.  They are the clear favorites to repeat as champion and have been all year.  Best player in the world on the best team in world.
2023 Historical Draft - Brooklyn Nets - 9th pick

Bigs - Pau, Amar'e, Issel, McGinnis, Roundfield
Wings - Dantley, Bowen, J. Jackson

Another question, would any team (but specifically this Nets team) tank the first play-in game to get a more favorable opponent in the first round?  Nobody is risking going into a single elimination game like that, right?

While I'll likely be able to look at the bright side of any top 4 seed that doesn't result in facing Brooklyn, Philly, Milwaukee in 3 straight rounds, I still want #1 (hoping Brooklyn gets #7 and Miami #4). And even if the C's do have to go through the gauntlet of Brooklyn/Philly/Miami, better to do it with hime court throughout (now extra important with Time Lord out).

After 18 months with their Bigs, the Littles were: 46% less likely to use illegal drugs, 27% less likely to use alcohol, 52% less likely to skip school, 37% less likely to skip a class

Probably Philly, to be honest. They've looked quite mortal recently.

Might have teams working to avoid Toronto in the first round.

According the ESPN Celtics and Philly are mum on vaccination status while Miami and Milwaukee have no problem saying they’re fully vaxed.

I have a feeling Jaylens not vaxxed

His comments were quite vague about it. I know that Schroder and Richardson were fairly open about being unvaccinated.

Might as well announce that you're unvaccinated now rather than wait till game day when you face the Raptors in the playoffs.

You'll know who is unvaccinated when that player does not make the three road trips to Toronto

Then you'll have folks needing to fight for their beliefs. The plot thickens.

Ironically, the two teams who remain quiet about vaccination status are division rivals of Toronto and either of these two teams could face them in the first-round.

Yeah. I know the C's lost to Miami last night but I think that's a team that can get exposed in a series. They rely so much on toughness but have too many weak spots. They're a good team but I like the matchup with the Celtics. Especially if Timelord is back.
