I keep hearing from the talking heads on TV how great LeBron is as he stat chases the year away without any thought to playing winning basketball or making the team he put together work. He's going full on stat chaser and it's very weak.

I don’t watch the Lakers.  Is it possible to play “winning basketball” with that roster?

I hate to just sounds like another hater but this season does feel like Lebron is filling the stats sheet in order to reinforce the narrative that he did everything he could and it’s not his fault they can’t win.

I know a few and have heard other Lakers fans complain about Lebron just as much as they do Westbrook.

The crappy on court attitude with the theatrics making it seem like everyone else is the problem isn’t going over very well with a lot of them.

It's possible to try... I've seen them too much as they are always on.

I don't know Lebron's motivations, but I don't really care if he's stat chasing or not.

2 things matter to me in basketball: #1 is the Celtics winning; #2 is the Lakers losing.  If Lebron's play is contributing to Laker losing then I'm all for it.

If I was playing on that crap team, I'd probably be chasing stats too.

Lebron has done a ton of winning in his career. Now he's 37, his team stinks and their 2nd best player has missed half the year. If he were hurting the team then maybe there would be some kind of argument but he's still far and away that team's best player and it's hard to imagine them having a better record if James was playing differently.

This feels like hating.

That current roster (no AD) without LeBron is 10-12 win team over an 82 game season. It is dreadful. No wonder he is frustrated. I would be too if I were in his shoes.

LeBron is the only thing stopping them from being the worst team in basketball.

He’s definitely stat chasing lebron has become a volume shooter I am not sure how efficient he is . He’s taking close to 7 3s - the game against the rockets he was 1-9 from 3. I mean that’s the way things are trending though in the league.

He’s quite efficient.  He’s got a .588 eFG% / .617 TS%, both fifth highest of his career.

He’s going for the scoring title and it’s very close between LeBron, Giannis & Embiid.

If LeBron was to win, he would become the oldest player in NBA history to achieve the feat.

But yes he’s obviously stat padding because even in blowout losses he’s playing 40 min.
