At long last, the #Patriots trade former first-rounder N'Keal Harry and it’s the #Bears as his landing spot for a 2024 7th rounder, per me and @MikeGarafolo. A solid upside move for Chicago, while New England moves on with a strong group itself.

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

He was set up to fail.  Wasn't the top receiver in his draft class but was the #2 WR off the board.  This is a failure on BB and the scouting.

Yeah, seems like a bad pick. Wasted opportunity for the Pats.

He was a great blocker! :P

But yeah, brutal pick with the WRs that went off the board after him. Deebo, AJ Brown, Scary Terry, Metcalf, Diontae Johnson, Hunter Renfrow, Slayton, Hardman... list goes on.

Harry is 22nd or 23rd in receiving yards in his draft class.
'23 Historical Draft: Orlando Magic.

PG: Terry Porter (90-91) / Steve Francis (00-01)
SG: Joe Dumars (92-93) / Jeff Hornacek (91-92) / Jerry Stackhouse (00-01)
SF: Brandon Roy (08-09) / Walter Davis (78-79)
PF: Terry Cummings (84-85) / Paul Millsap (15-16)
C: Chris Webber (00-01) / Ralph Sampson (83-84) / Andrew Bogut (09-10)

Please stop reminding me of that…Think I checked a dozen mocks before the draft and every one of them had Deebo, AJ Brown and Metcalf ahead of him. Every.Single..One… I mean, Metcalf was/is bigger than Harry so why not draft him if you are worried about blocking ability. Completely asinine draft pick. Hopefully the Guard that Pats selected several rounds earlier than necessary in this years draft doesn’t turn out to be a bust as well.

Veteran DB Jason McCourty is retiring from the NFL after 13 years. Former 6th-round pick spent the first 8 years of his career with the Titans and also played for Cleveland, New England & Miami. He won Super Bowl LIII with NE.

Keep an eye out for him possibly joining the media.

Cardinals are giving Kyler Murray a five-year, $230.5 million deal that includes $160 million guaranteed, per source. It gives Murray the second highest paid QB average at $46.1 million per year.

He has so much talent, but he's also undersized, often-injured, and made his negative feelings toward the franchise pretty clear.

His play reminds me of prime Mike Vick. He’s just faster than nearly everyone else on the field and has a cannon of an arm. Really exciting player to watch.

Cardinals still probably won't win a title in Murray's tenure, and he probably gets traded after year 3 or 4 of the new deal.

Kyle Rudolph AND Julio Jones to the Bucs?

Brady going all in on his 8th ring. Maybe Gronk should think twice about retiring a second time and come back. Edelman, it's not too late!  ;)

It has been reported that there is an independent study clause in the contract requiring him to do 4 hours of independent study every game week.

Quote
The clause states that the player will not receive credit for the independent study if the player "is not personally studying or watching the material while it is being displayed or played" or if the player is involved in activities that could distract his attention (i.e. television, video games or browsing the internet).

That's really a lot of money to pay a player that the team doesn't trust to be a professional.
