A name I haven't heard for like 5 years (a fact that does not inspire confidence for me).

I’m pretty excited about this signing. He’s not just a 3pt shooter, he can handle the ball pretty well and has a midrange shot. Is constantly moving out there and likes to shoot off screens. C’s really needed someone like this on their bench.

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

Agreed. Just the threat of scoring will open the court for Tatum et al.

That's the hope. He's had some good 3pt percentages in his career, but his career scoring average of 6.8 and career-high of 9.5 don't scream "scorer." And he's basically been out of the NBA for three years, which doesn't say much for his shooting ability. But maybe he can carve out a nice little niche for the Cs.

I like that the C’s will have the opportunity to bring him back next year if it works out.  Stauskas was such an amazing player at Michigan, and I really hope he can rebuild his career in Boston.

His defense was never consistent, but maybe being around this terrific group of defenders, plus having one more chance to make it in the league, will help him focus more on that end.  Offense isn’t a problem.

Unfortunately he has a reputation as a turnstile. He’s there as insurance most likely.

He played 2 games with the Heat this year but otherwise hasn't played in the NBA since 2019.  He definitely was a good shooter but he fell out of the league because he did everything else so poorly.  Not sure that has changed in the 3 years away from the NBA
2025 Historical Draft - Cleveland Cavaliers - 1st pick

Bigs - Shaquille O'Neal
Wings -  Lebron James
Guards - Luka Doncic

In that case, I can't see him breaking the rotation.
