Nesmith getting to match up against the oft debated Desmond Bane.  An interesting little game within the game.

Will also be interesting to see how our size (bigs) holds up against Adams and Jackson.  I am OK with Smart to hold down Morant some and with Tatum up against Ziaire Williams.

Overall, I like the match ups.  It would sure be nice to have Brown of course but we should still look at this as a winnable game.  I will even go as far as saying a game we should win.

No doubt Smart sees a lot of Ja, but with no Jaylen, it will be interesting to see who else gets how many minutes. Probably Derrick, but maybe also Nesmith (who is a really good on-ball defender).

I think Grant will play even more this game too.

I am assuming that Nesmith gets extra minutes to offset Brown.  White is already playing close to 30 min in the back up role so can't squeeze much more out of him.

Memphis is big.  That is the match up concern for us in my opinion.  It would be a good time for Theis to emerge and play some more.  GWill probably stays in the rotation at the same level he has been playing, maybe a bit more.  GWill played 28 min against ATL for example, don't see him playing much more than that.

Where is it listed as 9?

Espn pre-game page shows Celtics -2.5. Book I just looked up shows Celts -2.

I mean without Jaylen it'll be really tough to win this

Maybe but tough to say. They beat a competitive ATL team without him and they destroyed PHI without Rob Williams and mostly without Marcus Smart

I feel like his anti-Celtics bias has gotten worse this year

The plus side is that Chuck is an idiot, and he's not known for having a very cogent basketball mind. Feel like there's been at least three or four games this year on TNT where he's picked against the C's and they've won.

I've only watched him a few times. Is Ja as good as all the hype he's getting lately?
