At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

Yikes. Hope we don’t have to close with Hauser.

Big Al stepping up his scoring with JB out!

We have to keep him next season.  Right?

One of the things I do love about Ja is he seems like a good dude. He's always smiling, and seems to just genuinely love the game.

Overall, this Memphis team is very likeable.

Call me real old school, but anybody we are playing against is never in my likable category, ever!

Go Cs…. Screw everyone else!

I'm with you.  TP

Back at you, Silas (one of my favorite Cs of all time and Rodmanesque in his uncanny rebounding effectiveness , with less size and athleticism).

Go Cs!

It was Paul Silas himself who said that he made a point of never helping an opponent up off the floor because he considered them the enemy. That's an exact quote. I loved watching Silas and Cowens pound opponents into dust on the boards back in the 70's.

Silas was a real stud and a super nice guy.

I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.
