One other thing that drives me nuts - while I’m glad that Ime finally seems concerned about managing Al’s minutes, if he would do better at stop playing him unnecessary minutes during blowouts perhaps we wouldn’t have to sit him for entire games at a time. We clearly missed Al tonight.

That said, we look tired all around, and doubtful Al would’ve been the complete defining difference.
Disagree.  The difference was in the 2nd quarter when Theis got abused and Pacers built their lead.

It's what happens when guys don't play and you just dump them into a game.

back end of a back to back
on the road

Pacers shooting out of their mind.
sometimes it just isn't your night.

Yup.  I think we'll win our next game against them on April 1st.

Missed most of the game, sad.   Looks like Payton had a decent game.  Did anyone else have a good game?

Tons of trash takes about the defense tonight… the Pacers hit tough shots with defenders crowding their space all over the court, all game. They won this game, credit to them.

On to the Hawks. That game is gonna tell us a lot about this team. Actually this upcoming stretch vs the Hawks, Grizzlies, and Nets should really paint a picture of what this Celtics team is. Am looking forward to that!

Pacers hit tuff shots, played  hard.

Jaylen was pretty good as well. (23/4/8 assists) He got T'd up after he got leveled by a Pacers big, and then gave him a big push back.  I thought that play might spark us to get back in the game, but not to be.

Pacers also hit a bunch of open shots and outrebounded and out hustled the Celtics. Wasted game for The "Starters" in this one. Pritchard 4-8 from 3 "Starters" 5-25. This looked like one of the gems from before the winning streak.

Really missed Horford.  Theis not quite in sync with the team defenses and missed some easy shots.

I suspected the recent Celtics run was fools gold. Actually, in their win streak, they didn't beat anyone good. They have had an incredibly lucky streak of playing good teams who were decimated by injuries and also played weak teams. The Celtics are 22nd in FG %, 24th in 3 pt. % and 18th in assists. That isn't gonna get it done. And to compound matters, the bench is wildly erratic and clearly lacks depth.

The Philly win was a good one, and we were beating the teams we were supposed to.  Then, with the Detroit loss we completely reverted to bad habits.

Our offense is too bad and our rotation too thin to advance deep into the playoffs, now matter how good the defense is.

watched on tape delay.  today's hot takes:
- Indy shot out of their minds.
- Tatum stunk the joint up.
- White didn't make much of a contribution
- can tell then their going to have a bad offensive game when GWill only gets 2 shot attempts.
- another solid game from Pritchard.
- Defense made some mistakes but a normal shooting game by Indy and by Tatum and this comes down to the wire.
- offense was yet another appearance by the "gang that couldn't shoot straight".  Team is really in a position now where they can't afford for either Tatum or Brown to have an off night and have a decent chance to win.

- biggest offseason goal is to get a legit scorer to add to the J's.

Watching them hoist 3 after 3 in the 2d was painful to watch.
