Perhaps there will be a flurry of moves in the next two days. But this is seeming like there will be the least buyout guys ever. Tristan Thompson and dragic are the only guys that have been bought out. Carter was cut from nets so not sure he even counts. Some guys like Schroeder have been announced as staying put. It is seeming like Lopez and Harris may stay in Orlando. Is this a change in the NBA? I would be pretty happy if the buyout market went down to almost nothing. It always seemed like a bit of a problem for a team in salary cap trouble could add a player for free (often subsidized by a small market team).

Per Hoops Rumors,

Veterans who have been bought out or released and joined new teams:

DeAndre’ Bembry, G/F: Released by Nets; signed with Bucks.
Tristan Thompson, C: Bought out by Pacers; signed with Bulls.
Goran Dragic, G: Bought out by Spurs; signed with Nets.
Drew Eubanks, F/C: Released by Raptors; signed 10-day contract with Trail Blazers.
Jevon Carter, G: Released by Nets; signed with Bucks.
Tomas Satoransky, G: Bought out by Spurs; signing with Wizards.

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

I thought there would be more.  I don't care if the buyout market goes down to nothing eventually, but we really need a player or two this year.  A lot of the guys on our bench are barely NBA players.  Horford just played 37 minutes against Detroit.  Udoka is already in playoff rotation mode because he doesn't trust many people on the bench.

Yeah guys released don’t really count. Especially if they are just switching lottery teams like eubanks and satoransky. So you basically have a 3rd string point guard for the nets and an insurance big for the bulls. Last year it was players like Drummond, Aldridge, Blake griffin who all played roles for playoff teams.

I read somewhere that guys are interested in buyouts so the team they are playing for can have bird rights to deal them vs not being able to sign with a team because of limited cap space around the league.  Makes sense for sign and trades for the players to get more money.
