I hope PP starts to get more minutes regularly. I still believe in Nesmith... wish he could be part of the rotation. Seems odd that Theis gets a DNP today and only 6 minutes against a weak Nets team. Ime is going to have to develop a better bench. Otherwise, the Celtics won't go far in the playoffs.

Let's hope Gorman is back for tomorrow's game.

I don't think I can put up with another Scal/Mannix collaboration.

Agreed. I like Scal, but Mannix is brutal. His voice is my Mary Hart.

Scal is worse at play by play than Mannix is at color.  It was amateur hour in the booth today.

missed most of the game -- caught the 4th quarter on the bar TV during lunch.  noticed no Timelord or White during the 4th quarter.  can someone provide an explanation why they weren't in the game ahead of Pritchard?

Payton was playing arguably his best game of the season and White was having a bad game.  Not sure about Rob.  Al and Grant were both having good games.  Someone had to sit.

TIMELORD was getting roughed up by  Stewart. White had a poor game and Pritchard was the hot hand.

TP for the update.

seems White is still not justifying what we gave up to get him.

This was his only disappointing game so far.

Still don’t understand the disappointment around the White trade. We’ve played incredibly well with him in this short span so far.

While I don’t like how much we potentially gave up for him, mainly as it ruins my obsessing over draft prospects, nobody can argue with how we’ve played with him and how he’s fit in
'23 Historical Draft: Orlando Magic.

PG: Terry Porter (90-91) / Steve Francis (00-01)
SG: Joe Dumars (92-93) / Jeff Hornacek (91-92) / Jerry Stackhouse (00-01)
SF: Brandon Roy (08-09) / Walter Davis (78-79)
PF: Terry Cummings (84-85) / Paul Millsap (15-16)
C: Chris Webber (00-01) / Ralph Sampson (83-84) / Andrew Bogut (09-10)

I agree -- White adds more to the team than JR or DS and I'm glad for the trade.

I'm sure it's been discussed previously in this thread (I missed most of the game and thread today) but wonder what's the word on Theis.  Why no Theis last couple of games?

Hard to tell.  Maybe Ime has Grant playing the third big with Theis only for emergencies.  Both Al and Rob are playing close to 30 min/g. with Grant at about 23.

A really underrated difference from this year to last year is that Daniel Theis was our starting big man last year. He's now our 4th best big man, and its not because he's worse. Our depth is just so much better this year. That is due in large part to Brad Stevens clever maneuvers and to our guys being ready to take the step forward that was needed.

Late to the party, will just catch the game on replay. I wonder why Ime isn’t playing Theis. We need to keep big Al fresh. It’s nice to see PP have a real solid game too.

Would love to see Ime sit Al tomorrow and give Theis some serious PT.
