Sometimes you got to give the opponents props. The Pistons made a bunch of threes and played some good defense.

I think the C's put the hammer down in the 3rd.

Definitely missing Smart and Timelord.

This. TP.

Pistons are playing really hard.

TPs to everyone for having to suffer through this trash
I find this rather ridiculous.

Celtics are winning and on the second game of a back to back where they traveled. They are down two starters and gave up just 48 points in the half

They've been obviously playing better but they are playing way better than trash

You can't win every game by 48.

WOW REFS!

They are matching the Celtics' effort level.

Shame on these guys for showing up with such poor effort. They put their winning streak in jeopardy by not taking the Pistons seriously.

It has all the makings of a trap game - weak opponent, second game of a back to back, coming off a huge win, etc. Hopefully they still pull it off at the end.

Nah. They are dogging it. That deserves criticism.

TP for a very good assessment.

Cs need like one good third quarter and they can put them away.

Agreed.

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

I guess I don’t see the Cs playing all that poorly. Pistons hitting their shots and getting too many O boards. Cs didn’t look great in first half v. Denver or Atlanta. Better tonight. They should be able to step it up.
How about the turnovers?  The ISO ball?

Too many TOs but Pistons playing with very good energy on D. Cs playing 2 guys who haven’t had minutes this year. Tatum iso is a bit much. Cs have  been ok overall and have a 4 point lead over an energized, physical young team that’s hitting shots, playing D and crashing boards. I still  go with Cs aren’t playing all that poorly.

We about to win a game where Nesmith played 24 mins.

I don't see the big deal.

Ok, so they can't play every quarter great.  They have won 16 of 20 and crushed Philly yesterday.  Give them a break and let them crush these guys in the second half.  Go Cs.

TP4U NG.

They aren't playing poorly. They can play better but some of this is Detroit playing really well.
