Is there really any risk to swiftly signing Evans to a 10-day? Don't see any. And could there be reward? Yep, there could be some....

Even signing him for the rest of the year for a minimum is really low risk...

Same could be said for DeMarcus Cousins every time he’s been available. From a pure talent standpoint, yes. They could use his skillset. From a personality fit in terms of the type of character Brad looks for in players, no.

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

Actually, a rest of the year contract runs a risk of the luxury tax until Jaylen is affirmatively not in the All-Star game.

I guess it depends on TE's fitness. Easier for me to buy the notion of Evans if he's actually in good shape / had gone clean over Cousins, whose conditioning and agility (on the defensive end) I don't trust. And Evans game would be more a useful fit for these Cs over Cousins, IMO.

I think it depends on which Evans we get. The one from 2 years ago would be pretty handy offensively if Smartacus has to miss significant time. Unfortunately he was never the greatest defender and I doubt he would be better today.
