I'm all about this is business and it is what it is.

But it's nice when a player connects with a fan base and a city like this. And it's nice when a franchise treats a player like a person and not an asset.

With all of the trade demands, and pouting on the bench, and not reporting to camp, it warms my cynical soul to see a franchise and player show each other respect even in the midst of a split.

CJ and Dame have always been my favorite non-Celtics backcourt. Both seem like genuinely good dudes, particularly CJ.

Just like Judas Shuttleworth, huh?

Ray put a piece in the globe to try to save his image, but no one appreciated it because it rang hollow.

Classy farewell from a classy person. Not every breakup has to be a bad one.
