Welcome back, Green Kornet!

Ditto -- think I'd rather have him than Theis, especially (obviously) when their contracts are factored. Kornet's abilities better suit a 3rd strong center over DT.... more complimentary than duplicative.

God no - I was hoping we'd seen the last of Kornet. And I don't know why we are bothering with giving Hauser a permanent spot. Super-underwhelming. Hasn't Brad ever heard of 10-day contracts?

Kornet is laughably bad, while Theis is a productive rotation (starting?) level NBA Center with the ability to switch on defense and make his teammates better on offense. Kornet should be thanking his lucky stars that Brad is so weirdly into him, because no other GM in the NBA has any interest. I seriously hope we see even less of him than Fernando.

He's played for both Milwaukee and Cleveland this year, so other GMs had minor interest, at least.

I agree -- and the same could be said for Theis. Think anyone else was bangin' down the door to take on him and his (bad) contract?

I hope we see neither of them. Because neither should be in the rotation on this team.

What makes you think they were brought in to take any minutes? Coach doesn"t play these guys anyway, but they know the system and we still have 3 roster spots. We also have to stay under cap.

Per Woj, Hauser and Kornet are getting the 2 spots needed to get to 12 before tonight's game.  Still 3 open.

Does that mean that they are becoming full contracts, or they will fill in on two-ways?

Woj said rest of the year.

Cool! Kornet has an NBA level ability to defend the pick-and-roll and contest shots with his length, and a potential NBA ability ("potential" for like 5 years now) to stretch the floor. That's a solid end of the bench player.

I like Hauser. I hope he's given the opportunity to prove it at the end of this season, and I hope he steps up. He might even jump Nesmith in the rotation.

And at best, he is the 4th center (5th if they use Grant as small ball C)
I'm OK with Kornet as the 4th string center.

Sign Denzel Valentine now as a low-risk/cost high-reward type wing.

Both players are inconsistent at this point but decent end of bench guys. Is Josh Jackson being released?

Oh please, please, please let Boston be the only team that has an opening for Jackson. The irony would be delicious.

That's just the thing. Valentine is currently in the Cs organization and he has actually proven to be somewhat decent in the past - he makes a ton more sense than two-way Hauser or freaking Kornet. I knew we weren't going to be blown away by these signings, but you don't shove everybody out of the way in order to sign these two. They were definitely going to be available after the buy-out market dries up.

Hauser and Kornett are not that inspiring.   I hope they prove me wrong but I doubt it.

In Valentine's best season 2017-2018 with the Bulls he played 77 games and averaged 10/5/3 in 27 mpg with overall 41% FG (38% from 3).  He's 28 now so hopefully he's motivated to catch on and salvage his career.

Dear lord no, keep Denzel Valentine far away from this team. Lowest IQ player I’ve ever seen

There are three more empty spots. They have to be better than two injured guys that won't play this year. We can also add another two way contract.

So far we have:

Out: Richardson, Langford, Freedom, Fernando, Bol, and Dozier, Schroder.

In: White, Theis, Kornet, Hauser.

Significant improvement imo. We added two really useful players in White and Theis and added much needed shooting in Hauser and Kornet.

4 white guys
