The Nets don’t use any of their TPEs then cut a rotation player in DeAndre Bembry as the cheapest option.

Very bad look for Joe Tsai in what is a win-now season for Brooklyn./quote]

I like the idea of Augustin, but he hasn't been good for years now. I think Pritchard would be a better option in the rotation at this point, and I'm not super high on him.

How about Robin Lopez as emergency big man depth?

Gary Harris is shooting the ball well this year. Robin Lopez would be a good replacement for freedom

When Gary Harris is locked in, he is one of the best guard defenders in the NBA.

I do struggle to see how we have enough time to entice him to sign with us. He'd be our 8th-9th man. He was a starter for Denver a couple years ago in their playoff runs.

I think its far more like he would sign with a team like the Bucks or Lakers that are top-heavy. I would predict the most likely option would be the Utah Jazz, because they are desperate for defense.

The trio of RobWill, Horford, and Theis brings a lot of rim protection. White and Smart would be nightmares for opposing guards. I think our D is much better post deadline. A lot of guys here (me included) have been clamoring for the young guys to get some burn. We lost some shooting with JRich but it’s finally time for Neismith and PP to show that they belong.

Having open roster spots should only improve the flexibility of this current core. Garry Harris would be a nice pick up for added shooting.

I like Nader as bench depth. He was always a little bit like Jevonte Green off the bench for us.

Bazemore and Hood would be two decent swings for us.
Recovering Joe Skeptic, but inching towards a relapse.

As an Iowa State grad, I took so much crap for trying to defend Nader a bit here lol
It felt like the whole of celticstrong hated him, but you could do worse for the end of the bench.
