Wow. That’s the sharpshooter we need.

I like Ross for this team, but Schroder plus a pick is a lot for him, unless the pick is a protected 2nd or something.

This works in trade machine but puts us into the tax: Lopez and Ross for Schroder, Freedom, and Bruno

Not really.  Over the past 5.5 years, Ross has been above-average on 3PTs exactly once.  He’s a mediocre shooter at this stage.

I'm slightly suspicious of a 10-year veteran who has only one season played for a good team and that team traded him the following season.  I'm further suspicious of a "sharpshooter" who is shooting 40% from the floor and 30.8% on 3s this season.  No thanks, I'd rather give Nesmith the minutes.

Seems like he shoots 99% against Celtics.

The article mentions how Ross has messed up the Celtics in previous games recently going off for 25+ in several games...

Realllly hoping that Brad doesn't overpay here out of some sort of misplaced admiration.

I like Ross though, and I think he probably brings a tiny net gain over Denis, but not enough to get this group a Chip.

The thing here is that Rob is getting near his peak, and we should really be waiting and going all in (tax) next year, but landing a 3rd star in Summer...

That is a lot. Schroder and Romeo are both shooting better from 3 pt.

agreed.  giving up our 8th and 9th rotation players for someone who'll be projected to be our 8th rotation man

At the same time, Wiggins goes to GSW and he is suddenly deadly. Look at his splits! And now that he's played 120 games, it's a decent sample. Without checking his shot types, I'm guessing he is taking a lot more catch and shoot, which is exactly what Ross would be doing..

EDIT: Wiggins is taking more than double the amount of corner threes than he did in Minny
