Woj:

Full trade, per sources:

Blazers: Josh Hart, Tomas Satoransky, Nickeil Walker-Alexander, Didi Louzada, 2022 protected first-round pick, two second-round picks.

Pelicans: CJ McCollum, Larry Nance, Tony Snell.

And Nance? Portland has been giving away players and I don't understand why.

Wow. When I saw all that for McCullom I thought it was too much, but with Nance, the value looks better.

Update from Woj on the 1st round pick:

Sources: The Blazers are acquiring New Orleans' 2022 first-round pick with protections. The pick comes to the Blazers if it lands between Nos. 5 and 14. If it doesn't convey this year, the first-rounder kicks to the future for Portland.

Yeah, Nance might be the second best player in that trade.

When you look at the value Portland sent out to get Powell, Nance, and Covington (Gary Trent Jr. and 3 1sts), this is just bad asset management.

Portland is trying to shed salary, our ownership doesn't want to spend. We weren't compatible trade partners.

Boy, hope this doesn’t mean they’re planning to sell off Lillard for Simmons. Don’t see the logic in what looks to be a complete rebuild around Lillard right now at his age and where they’re at.

Doubt it gets it done, but I’d throw the kitchen sink at Lillard now. A Godfather offer built around picks like Horford, GWill, Nesmith, 2024 and 2026 first round picks with swaps in 2025 and 2027 for something like Lillard and Zeller.

At the very least you’d probably have to include Timelord (which I’m not sure I’m comfortable with), and that still likely wouldn’t be enough. But a boy can dream lol

Yup.  Turrible.  Do we blame Neil Oshney for the bad trades in the first place, or Joe Cronin doing what he can to tear it down?

I'm going with Oshney.

Yep, that one probably isn't a Godfather.  You've got to include the 2022 #1, Timelord, and Brad's first born.

I don't think it can or will happen right now because I've heard some suspicion that Lillard's stomach injury is fairly serious, but I do think Lillard will wind up in New York for Randle, Quickley, Walker, and some picks this off-season.

They don't have the assets to try to rebuild this team around Lillard while he is in his prime. They will move forward with Simmons, NAW, and whatever they get for Lillard.

We have to match salary (just like NOP had to).  McCollum is not even close to any of our TPE.  I doubt that Portland wanted Horford.  It would then have to be Smart AND Richardson.  Is that really a trade you want to make?  Did you have something specific in mind for the framework of a trade?

Who knows with the way they have managed their assets. Maybe not?

If they're trading Lillard, they should focus on just getting picks instead of Simmons.  Go all the way into the rebuild, don't dip your toe in with a single star.

Also, I would not be interested in Lillard at this stage of his career.  We can see the performance drop off from a mile away.

I think it's a combination. Yes, Oshney overpaid probably. But to trade CJ, Powell, Covington, and Nance in a few days span and all you have to show for it is a single 1st which is protected, some middleing 2nds, and no blue chip prospects (unless you really believe Keon Johnson or Nickeil Alexander-Walker can break through), Cronin may be underselling as well.
