Schröder touches the ball twice;

Wide open 3 instantly, fair enough

Then tries to drive and loses it.

Called it.

i can only follow the box score for this game, so all insights and observations posted are appreciated....and rewarded with tps.  ;D

Hahaha, save the TPs for those in need, but so far, we're matching the Hornet's playstyle!

High paced, lot of half court stuff, lot of drives, some kicks.

What we've taken from outside has been wide open. Looking good.

(Grant to JRich for the SLAM!)
that is a good game plan. i hope they dont fall back into lots of tatum isos and 3 pointers with time on the clock.

that is not fun basketball to watch.

for things such as this from schroder, you might as well boldly declare the sun will rise in the east.

2 Tatum dribbling offensive possessions to end the Q.

Trudat.

I think this is why he's better with large quantities of minutes; he'll start passing more. When that's not the case, he'll keep trying to run it at them.

Maybe a bit like "tired Dennis is better Dennis".

Too many attempts for Smart/TL, not enough for Tatum.

Tatum: 4

Smart+TL: 5 combined

We fine.

Smart hasn't made a shot and TIMELORD hasn't missed.

Nice random unrelated stats.

Were they wide open shots?

Also, Smart has 4 assists. That's related because he's obviously not "looking to shoot" and just taking what's being given to him.

Man why are people so down on Smart. It's dumb.

You posted the TL/Smart shot stat...

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

Solid 1st quarter. Love the cutting and passing especially the Grant to Richardson play.

Schroder has to understand that there are moments to lull and attack opposing teams and when to just turn on the burners. Solid 1st quarter overall.
