Send Horford and Romeo and 3 1sts 2022, 2024, 2026 for Brandon Ingram. I haven't been a big fan of Ingram but the thought of Smart, Brown, Ingram, Tatum, TIMELORD starting unit does seem like an offensive/defensive powerhouse.

Agree, and he and Jason can alternate between sf and pf.  I would love to see him join the Cs.  I forgot he is only 24.

I'm not really that big on trades this year even though I've been posting tons of trade ideas but if you have make one, make it big.

Yeah, that's 3 top swings, wings, forwards or whatever you want to call them.

Too many picks for me.  I also don’t see the Pelicans being interested in picks.  They’re in a tough spot with an injured potential franchise player who they want to appease, but at the same time, if he’s so out of shape that he can’t play, should you appease him?

He’s a Duke guy and my buddy saw him out to dinner at Delfriscos after we beat them here in Boston a couple Sundays ago.

Read whatever you want into that…

They're a mess with no easy way out. If they could ship Zion out for Simmons they should do it in a heartbeat. The Pels don't seem to have a way forward. Dumping Ball for nothing was a bad move. Those are late firsts if we make this trade...

I'm not sure. He is still very immature (basketball wise). He doesn't understand how to play winning basketball. He doesn't understand how to combine with others. He still needs time to figure out how to play play & win in this league. He could still be a few years away from figuring that out (if he figures that out).

I could see him compounding existing chemistry problems and making things worse here.

He makes me nervous.

Even as poorly as the Pelican's franchise is run, I cannot imagine a scenario where they would say yes to this.

I'm trying to talk myself into "Maybe they need a lockerroom leader and could get Smart for Ingram" or something like that, but I just can't see it happening unless Ingram had demanded a trade behind the scenes and Brad Stevens fleeced the Pelicans.

I don't really think it would be worth going all out to add a guy like Ingram who is not that different from Tatum.

Like, the way to make the team better is not to add more of what the team already has while not really adding anything the team currently lacks.

It's a risk, true. He seems to enjoy playing Basketball. He's improved his body and his game. He would have to buy into being the 3rd wheel or at least option 2B to Jaylen's 2A.

Ingram is chipping in 5.2 assists and 6 rbs a game. More Assists that either Tatum or Brown. I think the Celtics are much improved with this move.

This guy seems like an ultimate empty stats guy. I’d pass. His stats haven’t really translated to any sort of increase in winning.
