I'm not including Luka, but these are my top four PGs if we could have anyone in the league.  Who would
Give the celtics the best chance at a ring.

if we're just adding them to the current roster without sending anyone out -- tough call between Chris Paul's ability to run an offense and command respect from his teammates to fall in line on offense OR Ball's all-around skillset and his age being more in line with the J's timeline.

Yes I was going to say title in the next two years to give Paul a real chance, but given the Jays age it's to tempting to add a young stud.

My Vote is Morant.  His toughness and fearlessness puts him over the top, in addition he's avg 7 apg which is almost elite.

Ja makes us champions in two years.

This topic is kinda like asking: hey, if climate change wasn't actually destroying our ability to inhabit Planet Earth, wouldn't it be nice if the world got warmer weather? Cuz, it's pretty cold today!

It's a pointless discussion.

For me it’s LaMelo. It deal Tatum for him . I’d probably deal both the jays for him if I could do it anonymously. He has warts himself but I’m  in love with his game and his desire to make others look good, not wasting dribbles. My favorite player to watch these days.

No it's not negative Nancy.  The point of the exercise is to find out what the ideal PG looks like next to the Jay's.

If you draft a kid to play with the Jay's of course they won't be as good as any of these choices, but maybe the kids ceiling is near Lamelo or Trey Young.

I will continue to argue for a pass first, tall pg who is a decent defender.  Twenty year old, 6'8" Ball does the trick and he shoots 3s at a reasonable %.

I think the best PG fit in the league for the C's is Dejounte Murray.

What do you have to give to get him? Smart and Bruno for Murray works. But do the Spurs do that?

this is like asking what is the best fit for the car I will now drive to work every day, a Tesla, Maserati, Mercedes, or Land Rover?

I thought this exercise was about magical thinking.  I didn't realize that we had to actually think about how to make it happen.  Oh well.
