One thing that I found interesting with the news of the Reddish to NY trade is that it may have helped to set the trade market for Coby White. White has been rumored to be available in trade.  With Reddish the #10 pick in 2019 going for a protected 1st I wonder if the Cs could land the #7 pick White for a slightly better package? Does Schroeder alone get it done? Schroeder and a 2nd? Schroeder and a protected 1st?  Would the Bulls prefer J Richardson and leave the Cs to send Schroder to a 3rd team?

As a player White isn't the perfect PG fit as he is more of a scoring guard then a facilitating point but he may be the type of guy who can grow into a floor leader similar how Chauncey Billups did. He started off this season slow recovering from an off-season surgery, dealing with covid, and adjusting to coming off the bench behind Ball but has really picked up his play of late. Even if he never becomes a pure lead guard his 3pt shooting at size for the position will make him a nice fit along side the Jays.

I like him. He can shoot. He can score. He is not selfish. He can play some D. Not a PG but he should be able to do a reasonable facsimile of one given time. And he should be a very good off-ball threat because of his shooting ability.
