Well TL has been playing well but still don't see him ever being reliable. How about trying to secure an upgrade moving him now? So poll is would you deal

TL, Langford, Al and two 1st round picks (both top 10 protected)
for
Sabonis, Levert and Warren?

Value wise TL is close to Sabonis but not enough alone for a swap. Levert and Warren I feel are also slight upgrades over Langford and Al. All the slight upgrades warrants the two protected 1st.

Pacers get cap relief, two picks and the second best player out of the six players traded.

C's 11 man rotation
PG-Smart/Schro/PP
SG-JB/Levert
SF-Tatum/Josh
PF-Warren/Grant
C-Sabonis/Kanter

It would commit to more down low presence at the 5. In the past I'd have said no but how often are teams allowing free one on ones to blow by a defender to go to the paint. It just never happens anymore so spacing inside is less of a thing in the current state of basketball.

Time Lord has been arguably our 3rd most valuable player, and leaves his heart out on the court. Why you would come up with a trade proposal centered around him makes little sense.  Also not a go for the Pacers, they will want a bigger package than TL, and TL and Myles Turner is a poor roster construction.

SF/SG- Tatum, Brown, Hayward, Smart, Semi, Clark

Indiana wouldn't make that deal.  He's redundant but I really like Warren.  I'd be happy with a smaller deal to get him.  He's a professional scorer with great shooting percentages.

Indy wouldn't do Sabonis, an all star level player, for TL, who has potential but also an injury history.  TL also replicates some of what Turner does, but Turner has a much better outside shot.

You would be asking Indy to give up its best and second best player for two players with potential but with injury histories, a salary dump and two firsts, which would be worth a lot less with Sabonis and Levert on the Cs.

This is perhaps the most 1 sided trade in favor of Boston that has ever been on this board in a non-sarcastic manner.
2025 Historical Draft - Cleveland Cavaliers - 1st pick

Starters - Luka, JB, Lebron, Wemby, Shaq
Rotation - D. Daniels, Mitchell, G. Wallace, Melo, Noah
Deep Bench - Korver, Turner

Depending on what Indy wants to do will determine who they deal.  I'm sure they would trade TL for Turner.  He seems like it's a forgone conclusion that he is gone. If they truly blow it up they need a lot of help. TL for Sabonis does not get it done. Now 3 first round picks, TL, Romeo and Smart maybe but it kills the roster.  No PG, no draft picks etc.  Richardson would work with those three but we are in the same situation with our bench.

I do think its possible to get Sabonis if Indy really wants to move him.  I just don't see the C's having the assets to make a deal like this and still have the depth to compete.

Now if they can move Schroder for a late 1st, Use the TPE to pick up an expiring for depth purposes this deal could be doable and they can still compete.  I just don't see the C's being able to improve the team this year while still being able to compete.

The Indiana Pacers are considered unlikely to trade Domantas Sabonis. "The Pacers have an extremely high value on Sabonis, rival executives say," writes Shams Charania.

Indiana is more receptive to trade discussions with Myles Turner.

Mannix mentioned during the broadcast that any Sabbnis deal will have to net the Pacers an Allstar. Short of trading brown the Cs are not landing Sabonis.

I voted “Yes if…”

Yes, if we can not give up Smart-Brown-Tatum-Timelord.

So there’s just absolutely zero reason for the Pacers to consider any combination.

So it is essentially a “No”.

But man would I love to have him with the current makeup of this team kept in tact.

This lineup: Smart-Brown-Tatum-Sabonis-Timelord (wowza)

I mean are we better off with Sabonis then Brown? It is debatable.

Could Josh Richardson be serviceable in replacing Brown?

Smart-Richardson-Tatum-Sabonis-Timelord.

A very above average defensive team. But we lose that offensive punch losing Brown. Such a tough pill to swallow. Not sure where I land…

If he wants out and I'm Indiana one of the Jay's needs to be in the deal.
They'd have a fan revolt on their hands if they make a deal like the one you're suggesting.

ZERO change we're trading Timelord for Turner. None.
