Rob with 30 min and 0 TOs.

I'm loving Rob as our starting center.

Freedom with 7 reb in 12 min.  Not too shabby.

freedom = rebounding machine

How the hell did Hernangomez get a multi year $6-7M AAV contract?

That is Brad’s worst move.

He's an energy bench guy who's only averaging 5 minutes a game.

What energy? Any minutes he gets is too many. He was supposed to compete for backup 4 minutes, but he lacks actual NBA skills. Anything above a minimum contract is overpaying.

Pts in Paint: knicks-24, Celtics-42. When the C’s outscore their opponents in the paint they Win almost every time.

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

I'd go with Smart, Richardson, Brown, Tatum and Rob Williams as the starting 5 from here on out. Bring Al, Grant, Langford and Schroder off the bench.

If he doesn't play he can't really effect games. If you don't want to play him don't go get him.

I agree, and that seems to be a consensus from a lot of posters right now.

That's what I posted after the last game. He adds more shooting, handling, passing, and energy.

{sigh). We need to face reality with Al.  Great to have him around but he’s a backup center at this point.

When we're not injured - he actually can be just that, too.

Rob was really stellar again today.

He's so consistently good.

This! Richardson growing into a dangerous weapon.

Brad didn’t give him that contract.  It’s also not guaranteed next year, and he traded Kris Dunn and Carsen Edwards for him — two guys who were immediately cut.  The C’s will likely save money on the deal when Hernangomez doesn’t meet his contract incentives.

In this case, Brad did the right thing by extending him! Congrats and TPs all around!
