JB with 6 first half assists.  Has that EVER happened?

I remember him having 10 assists one time.

yeah but 7 in the first half? Doubt he's done that before tonight.

It’s JB’s turn to be an all around guy tonight. Great first half.

I'll take it, a good 1st half.

I just wait until the second half before I can say that anything is good. I really hope Ime goes to that bench early and often in the second half!

That was a quick appearance by Nessie.

Like an office party I'm looking to avoid
He showed up, made sure all his colleagues saw him, and left promptly
;D ;D ;D

Knicks 45% from 3, Celtics 25% from 3.  Doubt they can sustain that.  Gives me hope for 2nd half.

Quickley is a nice player.  Taken one pick before Payton Pritchard IIRC.

What purpose served playing Nesmith only 4 minutes? Makes no sense. He did nothing bad. The one shot he took was tough, did Ime pull  him for taking that??

Romeo is deep in doghouse.

some interesting comments on the 1/2 time show on NBA TV.
they said the J's are getting into bad habits, mainly showing Tatum forcing stuff over and over again.

I still think that JB and JT need to get better and stronger with their ball handling.  I don't mean dribbling between the legs or trying to cross guys up, I mean just good old bread and butter ball handling, keeping your defender from bothering your dribble, being strong with the ball, not letting everyone strip you.  JB and JT are honestly some of the worst ball handlers that are at an overall All Star level.  JB has gotten a lot better (after being terrible coming out of college), but man for someone everyone here talks about as future top 5 guy JT has to improve his handle/vision.

Missed most of the first half due to work.  Al with 0 points?  He has been regressing every month - his shooting % and PPG have declined as the season has progressed.

I don't think Al has looked good for a couple weeks now.  maybe he needs a couple games off?

Somehow I can’t get excited about a 2 point lead at half against a depleted Knicks team. Especially after the last game. You would think they would want to make a statement.

Ime was right. The team lacks toughness, but it starts with the coach.

He's played 4 minutes in a month.

JB starting the 3rd like the 1st half.  Ime will probably sit him in a minute or two.
