They desperately needed the win and I think it was the right call to play only 8 guys. All the guys were under 40 mins, Al who is the only one I would really worry about getting tired out played 25 mins. Grant and Timelord are 23 years old, Smarts 27 and JB is 25. Not worried about them getting extended minutes.

The 3 bench players who did play in Richardson, Pritchard and Romeo seemed to be in a nice rhythm getting more playing time as well.

Like I said, if you can’t trust guys to play five minutes without blowing a 23 point lead, they should be gone.

Don’t we need juancho and Parker for salary purposes in a trade? Some of the other guys like Johnson and the g leaguers will be gone

I don't understand Bruno Fernando. There was never a role here for him. We had 3 centers already and he has no offensive skills so he can't play forward.

… in the 4th, they shouldn’t be on the roster.  We can’t keep running our guys into the ground.

Who would you have wanted to see get some run here?

Any of the seven guys on the bench.  If they can’t help, they shouldn’t be playing.

Specifically, Parker was available.  Juancho.  If those aren’t NBA level players, get rid of them.

I would be surprised if either of those two finish the season with the C’s, to be honest.  The others will be gone when their 10-days expire.

What don’t you understand about him?  He’s here because we moved Thompson for some seconds, and taking on Bruno’s salary was part of the bargain.  If he’s not moved at the deadline, he’ll be cut unless we go full tank mode.

They have to be, if the coach trusts them that little.

It's been that way since Doc. At least Brad always go deep with 10-11 man lineup in the regular season to experiment. Ime seems to have none of that creativity.

Waste of a roster spot. Should have waived him right away and brought in someone who can play.

I don’t trust Nesmith, but I don’t think he should be gone. He needs to mature and develop and Should probably be in the G-league getting reps.

He will mature and develop much more quickly up here than he will in the G league. The coach is afraid to put him in even with for veterans… Very shortsighted and very narrow minded of this coach….. no creativity, no imagination, no tactical ability, and a very poor vision on how to motivate his players… But the players love him ……..or do they?

When your up by over 20, it's less about who comes in but more about the your top 8 players playing less minutes. I wouldn't put 5 end of the bench players in at a time, but rather one or two. The investment of playing your top 8 guys less minutes might be a benefit come the next game, and if it happens enough times, could have end of the season/post season benefits too.

He’s not, though. Plays out of control on both ends, like a chicken without a head. He’s regressed from last year and should not be taking minutes away from Richardson or Romeo, As those two have been solid all year. Nesmith should be in the G-league, so that he can play in games and develop. Way too raw right now.

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

Didn't Phoenix play their starters until there was about 30 seconds left in the game? I would say that's another layer to this.

Good idea. Why Parker is on this team I’ll never know. I’m sure Brad has been begging teams with a trade exception to take Juancho with a 2nd all year.

Parker has shown he can play. He had a great game vs the Bucks. I don’t understand why he can’t get some minutes specially when the team is in a scoring drought, specially now that the team is undermannned as well.

He’s the 14th or 15th man. It’s nice to have someone who can play in that spot but they're usually “break glass in case of emergency” players.

I can only conclude he doesn't trust them, and doesn't want to play them until they have "earned" minutes, or views them as practice squad players. It's a problem though when it comes to overplaying our main players. Al in particular looks gassed by the 4th quarter of each game. And when these scrubs actually make it on the court, because they haven't played in so long they are uncoordinated and shambolic and overeager to impress (e.g. Nesmith, Juancho).

I also suspect he only likes playing an 8 man rotation, 9 at the most, and picks ahead of time who those players will be, and doesn't deviate from his plan irrespective of what's happening in the game, unless we are the ones being blown out.
Any odd typos are because I suck at typing on an iPhone :D
