what's the appeal of this for Sac?  they're giving up more than they're getting back.
Barnes > Horford
Smart > Hield by a smidge
Bagley > Nesmith

Sac isn't going anywhere so why give up 3 solid trade assets for players that won't improve the team this year or next and aren't building blocks for their future?

In a second.  As much for dumping Smart as getting Barnes / Hield.

C/PF-Horford, Baynes, Noel, Theis, Morris,
SF/SG- Tatum, Brown, Hayward, Smart, Semi, Clark

This trade is laughably one-sided.

Kings would not do this, but they seem inclined to move Hield, so I'd favor a trade where we can get him for his shooting.

You’re right. Celtics should pass.

I would be very interested in Bagley in any deal. He is arguably the most poorly managed player in the league. He has looked good when I have watched him.

The Celtics should inform on De'Aaron Fox.

Excellent buy low candidate. He has a bad year, both in traditional as advanced stats.
The Kings have a bad record and could be willing to shake things up (again).
They have positional overflow at the guard spot.

With all our picks intacked and a couple of young guys still with potential we could make a reasonable offer without Brown included.

Imagine a Smart for Hield trade.

Start Pritchard at PG. Gives the Jays two high caliber 3 point shooters in the backcourt to spread the floor. The Jays as starting forwards give one of the best shooting forward combos in the league offering Boston one of the finest 3 point shooting teams in the league 1-4. Then you have Rob Williams as a rim runner at center exploiting the space or Horford in the high post as a facilitator in a five out offense.

One trade = one of the best shooting backcourts + one of the best shooting forward duos.
