🐺 Wolves 108 ☘️ Celtics 103 Celtics fumble away a 12-point lead vs. Wolves team missing 4 starters.  Boston’s final basket triggered clutch-time criteria (+/- 5 points, final 5 minutes). Celtics now tied for NBA lead with 13 clutch-time losses.

Wonder how we're doing on squandering double-digit leads.
They need a point guard.

Some guys are gonna be sent packing by the trade deadline. This is just sad.
if they continue to stink, I agree.  Figure Schroder and Al are the prime candidates to hopefully get some assets with Smart as a possible third player to go

That as an awful game for Rob Williams tonight. As much as he has some great flashes, he also disappoints just was often this season. How do you let Monroe and Night totally outplay you tonight?

Early foul trouble doomed his night.

If when Parker is healthy he’s better than the Jays.

I ignore single-game +/- as a rule… but how in the world was Langford a -32 in a five-point loss?  That’s actually incredible.

I’m not even necessarily blaming him or saying he played awful.  Didn’t even see the game.  Just marveling at the statistical oddity.

I was a huge fan of getting Al back, but I wouldn’t mind trading him to get a marquee player back. These losses are getting ridiculous.

brown doesnt impact the game...just gets his points and disappears.
Exactly !

Might be the most accurate description of both of our All-Star wings.
Tatum has been better at times in the 4th, but there are serious issues with both players' competitive mentality.

I agree but when I watch Tatum there is a sign of someone playing and impacting the game, he might have a bad shooting game  but he can still get a good number of impactful assists. brown just scores and disappears he can not create for others..I always see what he brings to the table when Tatum is out ,and he doesnt make the team any better- he gets his 26 points and then we lose. I feel like brown is not always totally locked in, thats why the offense goes away from him. he just lacks that overall  dog to want it. Tatum has it more in him.

SF/SG- Tatum, Brown, Hayward, Smart, Semi, Clark

Just caught it on league pass hoping for a nice blowout and early on, it looked like I’d get my wish. Wow! I did not expect this performance against the ten-day timberwolves. Why aren’t we trading for Nathan Knight? Who is that guy???

On a more serious note… Brown got slotted into the “Tatum” role and it doesn’t suit him. He’s an elite scorer and he needs to keep looking to get downhill to attack.

I liked Pritchard’s mentality the past few games though. He played a lot of minutes so his efficiency took a hit but I’m glad he looked like he was actively looking to score.

Boston absolutely sucks at protecting leads, and sucks in crunch time.

I've lost nearly all interest in this team. A thoroughly uninspiring group that is not worthy of my time. I wouldn't presume to tell other fans what to do or not do, so I'll just suggest something—this team isn't worth any fan's time right now. Can't even beat a group of no-names, and they continue to make opposing scrubs look great. I realize that Tatum and Smart were out tonight, but that's part of the problem—Celtics players just can't stay healthy and available. Different roster and different starting lineup nearly every game.

But the absence of Tatum and Smart shouldn't have mattered that much, as the Cs still had Brown, Horford, and Rob, and the Wolves were missing their top three players, leaving them with little more than a summer league team. Then again, another part of Boston's problem is playing down when opponents' star players are out, so I guess this loss should be no surprise.

If this is how the rest of this season is going to be (which I believe is the most likely scenario for this group), there's nothing to keep fans engaged.
There are two kinds of people: those who say to God, 'Thy will be done,' and those to whom God says, 'All right, then, have it your way.'

You don't have a soul. You are a Soul. You have a body.

One of the ugliest teams in the league to watch as well. Their offense is rancid.

brown doesnt impact the game...just gets his points and disappears.

It is the lack of ball-handling and passing that lowers his offensive impact so much. His offensive impact is consistently less than his scoring output.
