That was a foul on Smart. Not sure what you guys are looking at. Curry jumped forward shooting the ball because it's a half court heave and Smart jumped right into his landing spot.

Smart shouldn't have been anywhere near him. Let the guy shoot the 60 footer. If it goes in it goes in, but 99% of the time it doesn't

Yep, it was the right call.

We've seen Smart do this before. Gets hyped up in the flow of a game and makes an incredibly dumb mental mistake.

I disagree, there have been about 5 bad calls with Curry involved, but that one is all on smart, why are you even jumping at Curry.  The refs have shown they are giving him the all star treatment ALL GAME LONG.  Stay away from him and if he can hit the 50 footer tip your hat.

Ime getting the T is just as bad as smart.

Nice write up but you have not addressed the real point was the foul call on Smart the right call or not?

I thought it was the least objectionable call versus those other 5 'superstar' calls.
Smart fouled him, but the refs def could have just let it go end of half.  But since Curry is involved it MUST be a foul.  Just don't even challenge that shot that close.  We had cut the lead to 10, doubtful Curry hits the 52 footer.  Just a super dumb play, and then another dumb move by Ime to get the T and let GS go to the 1/2 with the regained momentum and a bigger 14 point lead.

That is literally one of the worst calls I've ever seen. That is specifically what the NBA was reportedly getting rid of this year. That isn't even taking into account is was 2/3 court shot with less than a second to go. I get that Smart shouldn't have been there, but I can't believe they got 4 points there for that.

Edit: Luckily I am watching the Cs broadcast. I might have lost my mind hearing the flagrant thing.

I have now learned on Celticsstrong that you cannot defend half court shots because the longer owns the court in front of him. Just totally ridiculous.

And that would have helped us how? Fans can get ejected and outraged because we don’t affect the game…bit different with coaches and players.

Also when you know the refs are bad you have to adjust to them, they will call that Edited.  Profanity and masked profanity are against forum rules and may result in discipline. all day if you let them. It’s not worth the risk for such a low percentage shot

Considering that 3 of our top 7 players are not playing and the refs are against us, they are still hanging in there.  Nice close on the quarter until Smart lost it.

no matter what we are doing, you have to begrudgingly tip your hat to the Warriors.  They are playing their game, Wiggins and Curry have been hard to stop, 16 assists in the first half, they have absolutely attacked us in transition, and their def has been way tougher than ours.

first half takeaways:
- missing Al and GWill on the boards, big time. need to team rebound but too many players just standing around
- GSW plays seriously, harassing D but no way they aren't fouling on some of those strips/blocks.
- team needs to put in their best effort to have any hope of winning this.
