I don't like when Smart leads the team in shots.

We get it. You don’t like Smart.

I like him when he plays Smart but not when he's letting Patty Mills just go to the hoop for a layup and not paying any attention.

We are moving the ball really well. Getting Grant Williams those corner threes is great offense. Shame he missed the last one.

Grant has 3 points but is giving up 12 on the other end. Guys have to play help defense and the Nets are getting wide open shots and layups. 👌

Who is Smart guarding?
He doesn't guard at a high level at all anymore. He plays like Rondo did towards the end of his time

He's always hunting the flashy play and not being solid. He's played well lately but he needs to pay attention and make the basic play.

These line ups with no JT and JB scare me.

In this game at this point, we have made a little run without them.  Ball is moving on offense.  Let them watch for a couple mins and see if the bench guys can continue their mini run

I disagree, and looked up some stats;

Literally league leading steals, no. 11 in defensive box +- and defensive win shares.

Yeah Smart has been decent taking the ball to the hoop in this game, it is the bad def killing us

I'm so not seeing the same guy as you guys are. And I don't get that when I look at stats it also shows he's still great.

Schroder is a good match up against Brooklyn but where is he?

Especially against Mills, he could smother him.

Ime not too smart.

These soft fouls are killing us, specially that we’re in the penalty.

Rondo was constantly near the lead for steals per game towards the end, which is exactly my point - relying on defensive gambling.

Jokic and Avdija are both in the top 10 in defensive BPM. Sabonis and KAT are both top 17 in defensive win shares. I think his defensive numbers are bolstered by the elite play of Al and Rob more than anything
