What look is Rubio going for?

Ringo star?

Well, it is not working for him. Has a much better chance of being cast as the Saudi Crown Prince.

I’m losing faith in Payton.

Been saying this since halfway the season;

He's super easy to defend.
 - Defend his 3 so he has to drive
 - If your help gets there, he'll pick up the ball in the paint and be stuck there
 - He doesn't have a pullup jumper because too small
 - If he goes for a layup, time your block because he's small

He so often gets stuck in the paint. And I've been betting he wasn't played for exactly that reason.

He had a hot stretch before teams figured him out.

-

Unrelated; These refs are insane.
Our offence in general is easy to defend. PP would be absolutely fine under a coach with any semblance of ability to coach offence, like last season.

You talk a lot about his "hot stretch" in his rookie year. He was better in April than he was in January

My timeline might be off, but he definitely got figured out after he had a bunch of good games.

Or that's what I thought I saw happen of course. I'm unable to actually read minds, and don't have a source :)

Well it was nice of the Cavs to for some reason decide to let Mobley try to back down Al Horford like 4 times at the end of the 2nd for no points.

If you are a fan of high level offense I would recommend not watching the Celtics.

Good passing? No.
High level shot making? Nope.
Good spacing? No.
Taking acre of the ball? Not really.
Getting to the rim off the dribble? No can do.

But their defense is legitimately great right now so they will be in every game.

Our starting 5 are 1/8 from 3s.  Not going to work tonight.

Seems like none of our guys are cutting to the basket for passes.  Everyone is hanging around the 3 point line.

Ime needs to make some adjustments quick. The sloppiness from last game has carried over into the first half.

This team misses JB's hot starts. That is for sure. When is he due back?

Hasn't been working in a while now

Team has been just shooting 43% from the field and 32% from 3 in the whole season so far.

Would be Nice, actually. My biggest fear is Udoka being like Mike Brown in those Lebron Cavs years. Good defensive coach, doing a fine job with the warriors for years, but no imagination on offense. I prefer head coaches with good offensive mind. You can always find a defensive guru to hire as an assistant coach.

He's supposed to be along for the travel, but "doesn't mean he'll play" I think.

So like, any day now.

Aaaaaaaany day now.

Hire Brad and promote ime to being GM, now that we're better on D

Then in a few years swap again

Etc. Etc.

Our defense, and Cavs' inexperience, keeping us in the game.

Thought Romeo did a a good job covering Garland in limited minutes.

Grant was playing his role to full effect.

Al showed good savvy defending Mobley.

Rob did well on the boards and defensively. Sure wish we could get him some easy buckets.  Need someone like Harden or Tres Young.
