good lord, what a horrible close out to the game.  all-bench line-up lets the Cavs back into the game and starters can't get it back.

Those guys on the bench barely play.  You can’t expect them to play well when coming in for a few minutes.  So why play them all together?  Mix them in with the other guys.

Brad would get criticized for his lineups, but he handled this much better with lesser players.
my point exactly.

What the hell has happened to Payton?

He got figured out halfway through last season.

Remember how he suddenly got less playtime?

He kept getting pressed, and got stuck in the key on every single drive, having picked up the ball.

Payton probably wishes he was playing 40 years ago when there was hardly any video and film session because he may have got through another couple of seasons before getting figured out

Payton in a funk but I wouldn’t give up on him. I think he’ll climb out of it and contribute soon. He’s an elite shooter. He actually played decently defensively tonight.

Timelord being interviewed and saying "we got too relaxed and comfortable with the lead and we couldn't shut off their water when they made a run".
Any odd typos are because I suck at typing on an iPhone :D

They played well together in the first half actually.

My worry is more that he's not getting open, and he gets exposed on D

doesn't make it a good idea - particularly after the opposition has had a chance to see it and plan for it

isn’t this what engendered marcus’ comments and the player’s only meeting last week? nice to see those learned lessons had such a lasting impact. this team is lost.

Ime should have called a timeout when the lead went down to 10. Perhaps he was trying to see if the bench could go on a counter run.

Ime sounds mad at the press conference. Says the team has to "toughen up, learn, grow, move on".

Says "everyone has to step up, we have guys playing heavy minutes, others have to step up".

When is Udoka going to admit that he's just a garbage coach. Already sick of him and his terrible draws.

Knew this would happen. Good run of games...bad loss ...get out the pitchforks and start killing Udoka, Tatum, Schroder, etc,...No matter how good they were for the last 5-6 games up until the last 12 minutes of this game.

Celtics play great for 5 games....crickets.

Lose a game because of a terrible 4th quarter. Udoka sucks. Tatum sucks. Payton sucks. Smart sucks. Grant sucks. This team sucks. Jaylen sucks(even though he is injured and not playing). Blow it up. Trade everyone.

This site is so predictable.

I literally predicted this about ten days ago.

That is gonna be the reaction when you give up a 19-point lead within 7 minutes.
The Four Celtic Generals:
Russell - Cowens - Bird - Garnett

The Four Celtic Lieutenants:
Cousy - Havlicek - McHale - Pierce

It was going to be the reaction if they gave up a 5 point lead in the last quarter.

It's simply the "the negative reaction greases the squeaky wheel" reality of this site for the last 14 years.

Be great and win a title like KG, PP, Ray, etc, or we are going to hate big time on this team.

I think I need another CS vacation.

Smart, eh? Ironic name for a guy who’s made two idiotic intentional fouls in our last two losses. He clearly never studied probabilities in school.

Was that seriously our go-to game-tying ATO??

Oh my god, Ime is so horrible at coaching offence

Not so good on defense as the Cavs score 29 in the 4th.

Giving up 29 isn’t atrocious. It’s scoring 15 in the 4th which is terrible.

If they score more than 15 or give up less than 29 you win. The offense and defense were both not good.

Also might help to not lose a 19-point lead in a 7 minute stretch.
How is that even possible ?
