Credit to Smart.  Played an excellent game tonight.  Only 1 TO.

yeah Marcus was in control for most of the game, did some stellar blocking out on the def boards, came up big on def on a number of times that impacted the game.  19 points and 3 steals....great game for him

Ooph. I’m watching the ESPN, not by choice, Hubie Brown is absolutely brutal at this point, he needs to go home to his wife

When he gets confused he whips out his stat sheet and gives it another read--which is all the time these days.

The thing I hate about Hubie brown is that he never stops talking. He talks even more than the play-by-play guy. At least Scal lets Mike get a few words in

Dennis Schroder, clearly our PG of the future.

Ooft :')

Man, if that happens, I sure do hope he cleans up his TOs.

I worry a little bit about his defense but he's got fantastic dribble penetration and is a microwave scorer, he was totally owning Bobby Portis in the 4th and in OT.

I think his D might be sus,  but at least he doesn't take plays off like Rondo used to. No matador defense, or "trying to get the steal from behind".

Definitely better than our previous PG who was vastly overpaid

You mean the guy who played part time, made a ton more money, and made us look like we were playing 4 vs 5 on defense when he was out there?

That is correct.

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

I mean, we're mainly young and can handle it, but it is a bit concerning how shallow Ime's rotation is thus far. Regularly getting 8 man rotations with a 9th guy getting a handful of minutes.

Regardless, great win!

He mustn’t trust any of those other guys to play them in anything other than garbage time minutes. Given his rep is a defense focused coach that’s probably where they need to impress him.

The best thing about Dennis is that he is vastly over performing his contract right now. Let’s enjoy it while we can, he will be due for a pay raise next year if he keeps it up

Schröder definitely has his moments where he’s out of position going for a steal.  He’s got quick hands, but sometimes they’re not quick enough.

Box score says zero turnovers even! (And I can’t remember him making one).

He has diarrhea of the mouth for sure..I have tuned him out at least 20 years …

..even if he knows a heck of a lot about basketball….his voice and run on conversations without
Stopping for a sec of  breath .  But openly cheers for who ever the Celtics are playing .,  he is the pitts.

I'll take his 38 points on 16/27 shooting, also 8 rebounds.

Just trade Smart and pay this man if he keeps performing well.

Yeah the guy who got shut down in the Toronto playoff game two seasons ago and disappeared in the Miami series. And has just been missing here and there last season.

Dennis has been a revelation. He seems to be enjoying playing with his teammates as well. If he keeps playing like this, Brad will have to figure out a way to keep him, if that’s possible.
