G. Williams zeros across the board except for 2 fouls.

He only got 6 minutes.

Doesn't deserve any more tonight.

Why does Smart deserve18 minutes? Brown 18 terrible minutes....

Ask the coach.

I heard he'll take care of it... :o

I hear ya!

We’re either going to play some defense or we’re going to lose.  Simple.

It would take a really good def team to execute the all-switchig-all-the-time def that Ime wants them to play.
I mean that just doesn't seem like it is working at all right now.

that said, we have been a joke on def this whole season so far.

No one seems to know where they need to be and there are constant mismatches!!!

another night, another listless performance. if there’s not a material improvement in effort in the second half, this team is officially in trouble.

it also seems tatum isn’t really interested in playing basketball. that’s a great attitude from our “superstar.”

Yes, Washington keeps getting and taking advantage of mismatches both on the perimeter and near the hoop.  The defense is awful.

it just doesn't seem smart to do the same thing all the time when you don't do it very well.

Really getting frustrated with this continued insistence to start Smart with the starters over Schroeder. It's clearly not working.

yet, there have been periods of games when the celtics were great on defense. the played agressive and with energy. they contested shots. the switching worked.

but during those periods the celitcs played with a lot of energy.

At least we're coming out with a little better energy, though defensive rebounding is still suspect.

Why are the Cs down by nine

Because they don’t play as a team on either end of the court.
