I think Bruno makes the team.

It’s a preseason game, but still good to get another W. TP’s all around.

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

My observations after just catching up to live play at the end:

1) It’s going to take awhile given the new philosophy, coaching staff, and even players, but I’m loving the renewed philosophy on ball movement. We looked Spurs-esque at times tonight with the excellent ball movement and teamwork. After the last few years of increasingly iso-based ball, this new philosophy is very welcomed.

2) I’m liking Tatum’s development in his passing. He’s becoming really good at passing out of the double team and making the right pass. Really like how controlled he’s been, even if his shot has been a bit off.

3) Smart looked a lot better as a facilitator tonight.

4) ROMEO AND AL! If Romeo can keep up that kind of shooting, he’s going to be a really nice piece for us. And Big Al! Man, that long layoff seemed to have done him good. Really excited to see what he brings us.

5) I’m a little unsure of this switch everything defense. Feels like we’ve been burned on switches and mismatches so much in the last few years.
Recovering Joe Skeptic, but inching towards a relapse.

If I may add…I think Bruno and Jabari make the cut for roster spots 14-15. The remaining battle may be for the final 2 way.

Al Horford turned back the clock tonight?

If he can do that during the regular season consistently then this team will be fun again

I hope so.

Wish we could trade Kanter for a 2nd round pick. Create another roster spot.

Agree

Bruno is much quicker than Kanter. I want to see more of him next game.
