Dansby's error has given Houston life, unfortunately.

Man, if the Astros win this game because two of their sucky hitters — Maldonado and ex-Sox Marwin Gonzalez — got lucky, and that propels Houston to a title, I’m gonna be seriously bummed. Unlikely, I know, but I’m just putting that out there.

It would be a very Atlanta thing if the Braves blew a 3-1 series lead in the World Series

Fried is on fire for the Braves.  Bit of a struggle in the 1st inning, but the Astros have gone 3 up and 3 down in the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th (a couple of singles that ended up with double plays).  Just 40 pitches through 4 so he can probably go a bit, though with the way the final relievers have been pitching I don't think Fried will go the distance.  Offensively the Braves have 2 HR's accounting for 5 runs so it is 5-0 in the middle of the top of the 5th.

Max Fried is totally decimating the Astros. Shades of Beckett in 2007.

6-0 through 5.  Fried with 2 k's and a pop out in the 5th (just 52 pitches).  He has 1 more batter on at bat 2 before he gets to the 3rd time through the line-up.  That has been the point the Braves have been pulling their starters all post season.  With a 6-0 lead and the way Fried is pitching, I hope they at least give him a chance to go deeper.

Also, the Braves have just 4 hits with their 6 runs.

Fried has now pitched longer than any starting pitcher in this series and it is still the 6th inning.  Man how times have changed.

There has been great pitching, just a lot of relievers.

Going 5 or 6 innings isn’t great to me.  I’m talking 8 or 9 innings of 2 hit ball with 10 strikeouts.

So, I miss great starting pitching, I guess.  Pedro, Clemens, Maddux, Johnson, Schilling, Glavine.

7-0 shut out in the clincher for the Braves.  Astros only scored 4 runs in the 4 losses.

Atlanta championship drought is over. Maybe the Hawks are next to end their drought
