Los Angeles Lakers to sign Darren Collison, Stanley Johnson to hardship deals, sources say

A always liked Darren Collison..

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

It’s tough to not root for Kemba.  Even as a Knick. He’s on quite a roll after being pulled out of the mothballs.

Though we all know it’s not gonna last.
Yup

That was an impressive win. Short-handed and all.

The Lakers just lost a close one on Christmas against a very depleted Nets team. Where are all the people yelling about how Lebron and Westbrook are soft losers who will never win anything and calling for everyone on the roster to be traded and their head coach and GM to be fired?

At least in the Celtics-Bucks game, the Celtics were the heavily undermanned team and the Bucks had pretty much their complete rotation healthy.

I’ve gotten a lot of pushback on pointing out Lebron is not a top ten player but he is losing to a team where the second best player was either 34 year old Patty mills or claxton. There has started to be a little buzz about lebron getting traded

It is clear you have not been following the press on the Lakers.

I think trading LeBron is the wrong thing to do in this case.

He's not really the problem. Hasn't he been averaging over 30 points in the last 10 games?

Also, he was the only starter in positive +- at +5

The others?

Dwight: -10 (only played 10 mins)
Horton-Tucker: -15
Ellington: -20
and the big problem himself, Russ: -23

Pretty clear that it's not LBJ.

In fact, "Trade Russ" is trending on Twitter.

I agree Russ is a bigger problem than Lebron but also believe he is completely untradable. Lebron is still a good player also, don’t get me wrong. But a lot of people want to act like he is at the level of curry, Giannis, Durant etc. and he just isn’t. He is probably more similar to a Paul George at this point, but the clippers are actually doing better than the lakers and probably have less talent.

Patty Mills going full FIBA is always a treat.
Man had always assumed that he was more intelligent than dolphins because he had achieved so much—the wheel, New York, wars and so on—whilst all the dolphins had ever done was muck about in the water having a good time.

But conversely, the dolphins had always believed that they were far more intelligent than man—for precisely the same reasons.
