It's hard not to vote for the Nets.

Durant shut down a potential Irving for Simmons deal With. Is that true?

With what Ben brings with his defense and passing.  Great fit. Need someone to take the clutch shots? Durant might be the best ever at that, and Harden was the mvp last year until the injury.  Floor spacing is stellar for Ben's playmaking and Hardens abilities.

Voted for the Nets. Here are some other teams not mentioned in the poll:

- The Warriors, as long as Draymond is included in the deal.
- The Celtics. A big 3 of Tatum, Brown and Simmons would tranform us into legit contenders for years to come.
- The Blazers. Wouldn't like Simmons next to Nurkic, but Lillard and Simmons would fit like a glove.

I hear what your saying,  but who are the celtics trading for Simmons. Horford? RICHARDSON? those guys already played for Philly and the sucked.

The 3 teams I mentioned have very real trade potential.  Russell,  Irving, and Porter Jr. Obviously the Twolves need to add picks or other assets,  but all three teams have a chance with those assets.

A less confident superstar center to take the blame, no playoffs to worry about. No northeast fans or media.

Minnesota is perfect.

It’s the Nets, and it’s not close. The Nets have two all-world shot-creators and a top-drawer shooter in Harris. Pressure would be off and his defense shores up a weakness.

TP. Just couldn't be a better opportunity for Queen Simmons.

Per fanspo.com, ''Josh Richardson cannot be traded this year since he signed an extension after August 6th''. Agreed that the Sixers would probably have zero interest in Horford. Chances are it would have to be a 3-way trade. Here's a deal I'd be happy with.

Smart cannot be traded till January 20. Schroder cannot be traded till December 14.

If we trade for Simmons (which I don't think we will), I'd be perfectly OK parting ways with Timelord. The 2 of them would be a terrible fit next to each other.

PG: Pritchard (perfect fit next to Simmons)
SG: Brown
SF: Tatum
PF: Simmons
C: Horford

This would be a championship-caliber team in my book.

Getting bored with all the Simmons talk on this site. The Sixers may as well have their own sub forum on CS given how many threads we have had on the Sixers team and their players since The Process has started.

Sorry KG, didn't mean anything against you, just the general interest in the Sixers.

No worries mate. It's just that time of the off-season.  I can't stand Simmoms but he is an intriguing piece of the NBA.

Rockets
Porter, Green, Simmons, Theis, Woods

Assuming Wall and 3 first get the deal done.

Zero chance Morey takes wall for 90 million plus.

It's a good deal if picks are unprotected. Wall frees up cap same time 4 other deals are expiring and Harris will be on last year. Gives them serious FA potential.

Of the 3 teams listed, I picked the Nuggets because I think they'd be just about unstoppable as a passing unit with him.
2023 Historical Draft - Brooklyn Nets - 9th pick

Bigs - Pau, Amar'e, Issel, McGinnis, Roundfield
Wings - Dantley, Bowen, J. Jackson
Guards - Cheeks, Petrovic, Buse, Rip

This all sounds a little bit funny, but I think this is the correct answer.  Plus I noticed there was no preferred destination list to come from Simmons' camp after teams like Minnesota were mentioned as possible destinations.  I actually think at this point in Simmons' career something like this situation would be best.  Let him play freely and establish what he's capable of for a couple seasons before squeezing his skillset onto an established team like the Nets or Warriors.  We don't even know if Simmons wants to be designated as a role player for the rest of his career, because on one of the great teams that's what he'll be.  He could score in the 20's for a couple seasons in Minny and get his confidence up, then reevaluate his career.
