People need to get over themselves. Get vaccinated and move on. It's how life's been since the inception of vaccination. Why suddenly all the discourse.

We honestly live in the dumbest of timelines.

People think that "freedom" means freedom from responsibility, but it doesn't.

It really comes down to self vs society.

I’m a believer that at times, “self” trumps society.  Societies can go down bad paths. 

But, even then, I don’t understand the analysis most non-vaxxers are making.  Their own self-interest suggests they should take the vaccine in almost all instances.

So our nation’s newest and gravest weakness is a huge percentage of the population being unable to think critically who are also easily manipulated via social media (and eager to be manipulated, frankly). Once we recognize that our enemies now realize this weakness and our government refuses to regulate social media such that we can end the manipulation by our adversaries, it all makes sense why anti-vaxxers are the way they are, making arguments that really make no sense if you’re able to think critically…

There's only one place in this issue where brainwashing is even a possibility. And it's decidedly not the side you're suggesting.

How is it possible that someone who is engaging in a debate on a social media site about COVID, someone who personally types their own words into a post and sees them posted on a site, turn around and claim that a virtual banning of dissent has taken place?

What will it take to change your mind? Want to take a quick look at FaceBook? At Twitter? You can't find dissenting opinions there? Really?

I don't mind if people want to get the vaccine or not (their choice, I respect it).

But I just roll my eyes when you hear people saying they are "doing their research". Not talking Wiggins here but other athletes who say similar stuff. (Darius Leonard, Kirk Cousins, etc.). So what, are they wearing lab coats and conducting research with test tubes or something?? 

My question, could they present the facts they've learned from their research? Even just 1-2 facts, I'm sure we'd all love to know

Their research consist of finding out if they will still get paid their full salary if they don't get vaccinated, while not being allowed to play in certain cities. So if Kyrie/Wiggins can't play home games because they're not vaccinated, will they still get paid for those home games lost.

I'm sorry, you're right. Trump handled this virus like a champ and if it wasn't for him we would all have been dead. Clearly, the Trump administration was right on point regarding Covid. Yeah, no deception or denying or downplaying or ignoring what his epidemic experts advised took place.

Yes, it’s good to see a player who is able to confidently and respectfully share his opinion on a controversial subject.  He wasn’t just repeating idiotic arguments he read on social media.

A couple things I took from that.  He’s talking about how COVID or the vaccine would impact HIM.  He also talked about “loving thy neighbor”, regardless of whether you agree with them.  Shouldn’t “loving thy neighbor” include caring for their well being, not just your own?

Watching Isaac, I have no idea why he didn't get vaccinated.  I mean he talked about all of the benefits of vaccination, the extra benefit he would get with it and having had covid, that the risk of the shot was insanely low, etc.  That all yields to the conclusion that he should get the shot, yet he didn't, which makes absolutely no sense at all.
