Why would the Bulls want any part of this?

Because LaVine is on the last year of his deal, just signed with Klutch Sports and has made disparaging comments regarding the Bulls recently. They have won nothing with LaVine and although his teams have lack stars, it's still contentious how much he actually contributes to winning.

Simmons is locked up for 4 years and the Bulls team is perfectly suited to his strengths. Ball isn't a true point guard, who has turned into a fantastic 3 point shooter and along with Vucevic, who is a great floor spacing big, can help open the lane on offence. Simmons next to Ball and Williams could make the Bulls one of the best defensive teams in the league.

Simmons and DeRozan are an incredibly redundant pairing in my opinion, and the Bulls are probably pretty confident in their ability to make the playoffs with their new roster, and convince Lavine to stick around.

Cleveland makes some level of sense but I'm not sure they'd give up an asset good enough for Philly to even consider it, especially since Philly would have to take Love (though I think he'd be ok next to Embiid, he isn't ideal and his contract is bad given his health).

Like is Love, Sexton, and 2 future 1st's enough.  Probably not.  Would Okoro be enough?  Again probably not and I don't think Cleveland is going to give up Mobley.

If Sacramento gave up Fox, I think they'd be able to work something out.  Fox/Hield for Simmons/Curry.  That seems like a reasonable trade for both teams.

I know they are holding out for Lillard, but I do think a package centered around McCollum could work especially if it was McCollum/Covington for Simmons + filler.  Something like that makes some sense.

Siakam isn't as good as Simmons, but is still a solid player that could form the basis of a trade.  They could also make that an uber blockbuster by doing something like this Simmons/Harris for Siakam/Anunoby/VanVleet.  That would be a nice solid mix around Embiid and also gets them out from under Harris and his significantly overvalued contract.

Wow, lots of ideas for places to trade Simmons.  I thought I would compile and summarize.  I am listing only the principal pieces, not every detail:

(More Added)

GSW:        Wiggins/Wiseman for Simmons
WAS:         Beal for Simmons/Maxey/Picks
Indy:         Brogdon/Warren for Simmons
OKC:         Draft Picks for Simmons
OKC/SAC:  Fox for Simmons with Picks to SAC
POR:         McCollum for Simmons
HOU:         Gordon/Wood/Porter for Simmons
LAC:          Leonard for Simmons
LAC:          George for Simmons
DEN:          Porter/Barton/Gordon for Simmons
DAL:          Porzingis for Simmons
MIN:          Russell/Beasley (or Edwards) for Simmons
SAC:          Bagley/Hield/Picks for Simmons
SAC/BOS:  Bagley to BOS, Pick to Philly
CHI:          Lavine for Simmons
CLE:          Sexton/Picks for Simmons
TOR:         Siakam/VanFleet for Simmons/Maxey (or with Harris and Anunoby)

I think a SAC deal is probably the most likely of these.  Philly wants Fox but SAC says no.  SAC offers Hield, Bagley, and Picks (which isn't bad), Philly holds out.  In the end, Hield, plus what they can get for Bagley and picks from a 3rd team is a good deal for Philly.  I am not sure they will do better than that.

I think Beal is a wild card.  So long as WAS believes he is happy, they won't trade him but if at any point they don't, getting Simmons, Maxey, and Picks would be a nice deal for them (and for Philly).

Shouldn't be, but he is.  The only difference between Ben Simmons and Giannis is that Giannis works to improve his game and isn't afraid of the big moment, while Simmons doesn't work on it and is afraid of it.  Simmons isn't very different from the kid he was at LSU, and he's entering his 6th NBA season.  His numbers the last four years are remarkably consistent, and they're very good, but they're also not that of the franchise cornerstone he should be.  And when a guy has superstar talent and a superstar contract, but doesn't have the work ethic and drive to go with it, that's a hard trade to make.  Maybe getting to Golden State would work for him, because then he could be the 3rd or 4th best player and find a role he's comfortable with, which is clearly not being a franchise cornerstone.  But there's no way Philly is going to get anything close to the star they want back for him -- what team with a star-level player is going to prefer Simmons to their guy?  Philly is going to need to get prospects/picks combined with a contract that they can later move for a star, or a collection of role players.

Many of these aren't even remote possibilities. LAC wouldn't trade George or Kawhi for Simmons.

If Toronto offered that, Philly should jump at the chance.

It depends on what they really would take.  Lots of teams would acquire Simmons, they just haven't wanted to pay the price the Sixers currently have for him.

I think it also depends on the fit. Simmons has to fit on a team as he needs the ball in his hands. Philly is also in win now mode so they can't just take back picks and prospects they need win now guys.

That’s what they want but whatever they get they won’t be as good . I don’t dislike Philly but this is beautiful that all that purposeful tanking and hets they are.  Embiid is SOOOO gone. Give it a year . But i think  it will be before that. Philly questioning him publicly instead of taking the fake political stance.. huge consequences.
