I think this deal may push Chicago into the tax, which is interesting.  But they get back a 1st, which they probably could use given the cost of Vucevic despite a playoff miss last year.

POR needed a PF, CHI gets a lottery-protected first and a decent young player, and CLE added a spacing big.

Think POR overpaid a bit, but they filled a big hole. Big win for CHI. Cavs continue to do strange things.
