Begarin has 7 assists.
He knows how to play.
Someone did a fantastic job coaching him up to this point. You can tell.
Came from the same youth program as Tony Parker and Boris Diaw IIRC. It shows.
You have a real PG but ball hog Tatum insisted on bringing up the ball. Total BS.
Didn't realise Tatum was the coach last season
Your coach was weak BS. Read the post.
You say "Tatum insisted on bringing up the ball." Any proof?
Give it a rest ….we all saw what happened last season..how wouldn’t even pass to Pritchard. Some even argued he was been trained to handle the ball.
Unless you have some audio, video or written quote proving your claim that Tatum insisted on taking the ball up and did so against his coach's wishes aand got away with it because the coach is a mentally weak coach.....then you're just making crap up and spitting it out every chance you get.
I think we can all agree that Tatum should not bring the ball up next season. It delayed our sets and hurt the ball movement.
I agree. Where I disagree is that Tatum insisted on doing it against his coach's wishes. If Tatum was doing something last year it's because he was told to do it.
Just look at last year's 2nd game for some proof. End of game, Stevens coaching was to just get the ball to Jayson and let him create a shot. Stevens admitted this post game. So, though it looked like Tatum was being selfish and being lazy, taking a step back three without even looking to pass, that is what the coach said to do during the timeout.
New coach. New system. New approach. We will see who brings the ball up, not that it matters. Last year this team brought the ball up slowly and slowly got into their sets. Tatum wasn't the only one. The issue isn't who brings up the ball, it's about how it is done.
If the ball is dribbled up quickly or passed up court quickly, and the team starts their sets with more time on the clock, I could not care less who brings up the ball. Just bring it up faster and get your plays going faster
