Chicago isn't going to cut Satoransky, but if the timing is right and they have a commitment from Lonzo they may dump him into a team's space, or the Hayward TPE, for relatively little to clear the space. Taking back that contract without clearing TT's salary from the books creates tax problems, though.
Lonzo's likely a non-starter. You have to match salaries in a S&T after winning the bidding war for him, and what you send back to New Orleans has to be worth their time enough to justify them taking on the $20 million or so in salary instead of the extra space to operate. And then you're hard capped and it's more difficult to make bigger trades. Just doesn't make sense unless you think Lonzo wins you a title without further major adds.
