Like his game…makes the right calls and hits the right shots…cheap, wants a challenge

I don't think he's a good fit as a starter.

Not a good idea. You would be replacing Kemba with an older, slower, less athletic, less efficient scorer, much worse defensive player version of Kemba.

I am guessing you won't have a lot of takers on making an old, skinny, short PG that is a massive defensive liability the team's starter next year

Ha dunno, he’s loads taller than Kemba and a long guard but still has that ability to ‘go off’. I think he showed summit in that last hawks game, chucks the rock if the options are right…$5m 1 year…wait for Lowry buy out…and get Beal!!

Lou is 6'1" and weighs 175 pounds. Kemba is 6'0" and weighs 184.

He's a terrible defender (much worse than Kemba) and is turning 35 in October. He's also not the kind of guard this team needs, at least as a starter.
'23 Historical Draft: Orlando Magic.

PG: Terry Porter (90-91) / Steve Francis (00-01)
SG: Joe Dumars (92-93) / Jeff Hornacek (91-92) / Jerry Stackhouse (00-01)
SF: Brandon Roy (08-09) / Walter Davis (78-79)
PF: Terry Cummings (84-85) / Paul Millsap (15-16)
C: Chris Webber (00-01) / Ralph Sampson (83-84) / Andrew Bogut (09-10)

Seven years ago this post would have still been strange. Lou isn't starter material, especially for us now.
