Guess they needed Tatum to not play. They are like 1-4 in the last five games where Tatum plays.

Who's the best guard defender on this USA roster?

It's going to be Jrue Holiday once the Finals wrap up.
Didn't realize he was going to join the team. That'll be huge.
Booker and Middleton will join the team as well. I reckon both of them are great options in the half court. FIBA basketball is mostly played in the half court.

Lebron swoops in to save the day in perhaps the greatest Space Jam 2 marketing stunt of all time.

Haha, that'd be hilarious.

I'm hoping for a reappearance of Olympic Melo

This is the kind of thing that could take down the team, even with vaccination.

Indeed.  It blows.  The guy really wanted this.

That said...  Why not get the vaccine?  I don't get it.  His closest friend in the league still suffers effects from it.  Now it's costing him the Olympics.

Jerami Grant is in protocols, too.  It sounds like Christian Wood is in consideration for Beal's spot.

Do we know that he didn’t get it? I’m hearing/reading that the Pfizer vaccine is reportedly only 64% effective against the Delta variant.

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

My understanding was the point of the vaccine was to minimise the danger it posed. Doesn't stop people from getting it, and I'm not sure it's known whether it stops people transmitting it
