Boston gets: Lillard and Beal
Bosten sends out: Horford, Jaylen, Langford, Thompson 3 1sts and 3 pick swaps

Washington Gets; Horford, Nurkic, Langford 2 1st  and 2 pick swaps
Washington sends: Beal, T. Bryant

Portland Gets: Jaylen Brown, Thompson, T Bryant, 1 st and 1 pick swap
Portland sends: Lillard, Nurkic

This works in trade machine.

Washington gets assets and players to still compete for a late playoff spot with Westbrook while getting picks and swaps for the future.
Portland gets Jaylen, Thompson, and Bryant to jump-start a rebuild with a pick and a swap.
Boston goes all-in with three stars. Hate to see Brown go but we are in full win-now mode with this trade.

BOMBS AWAY!!!!

Washington would say no…

Most likely. Unless Beal forces his way to Boston.

Portland might say yes, but I doubt that Washington would feel properly compensated.

Even if the trade could get done, I don't think Lillard, Beal and Tatum are a good fit.  They're all #1 scoring options.  Really need a Jrue Holiday type to fill the 3rd star role with Tatum and Brown.

This would work only if they gave everyone their own basketball.

If the Blazers want to rebuild, I think they say yes. I mean, JB is a young all star prospect! Absolutely a building block of a franchise that wants to start over.

Washington likely says no, and honestly, I’m not sure I’d want Beal here either (if we have Tatum and Lillard).

If anything, I’d rather we get a legit #3 rather than a #1/2 (like Beal) who we then demote to 3. If Horford can turn back the clock (tho I have serious doubts he can), he’d be perfect actually. If Smart can play more in control (something he’s never really done in his career before imo), maybe.

Lillard is averaging 7.5 assists and Beal is 4.4.

I would say both Washington & Portland say no, but I’d hope that Boston wouldn’t do that deal either.

Lillard is 31, which would put the Celtics in immediate win now mode. Lillard’s contract could also be a franchise killer (he is owed 42, 45 & $48 million) as his game is predicated on his speed and agility, if he loses a step, his performance would drop off significantly.

Beal for me isn’t a huge upgrade over Brown especially given their age gap, Brown’s advantage in height and defence.

I would be looking to eventually clear cap space for Beal as a free agent. A core of Tatum, Brown & Beal can win a championship.

I don't think you want to trade for both Lillard and Beal. They're both ball-dominant score-first players, just like Tatum. Teams like Brooklyn work because Harden is happy to grease the wheels for the others
'23 Historical Draft: Orlando Magic.

PG: Terry Porter (90-91) / Steve Francis (00-01)
SG: Joe Dumars (92-93) / Jeff Hornacek (91-92) / Jerry Stackhouse (00-01)
SF: Brandon Roy (08-09) / Walter Davis (78-79)
PF: Terry Cummings (84-85) / Paul Millsap (15-16)
C: Chris Webber (00-01) / Ralph Sampson (83-84) / Andrew Bogut (09-10)

I’d rather have Jaylen over both Beal and Lillard considering his age, size, and team friendly contract. Brown is already a better defender than those two and he’s still getting better each year. What’s prime age for most NBA players, 27?

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

I rather keep Brown as well but if you trade him it has to be an all in move. If I was in charge I'd grow this team and add a couple of 3&D vets. The Talent is there if they can stay healthy.
